Access the Recorder Manager Operations > Drives tab

Use the Operations > Drives tab in the Recorder Manager on an Archive Server to manage the Archive Drives for that server. You can launch the Recorder Manager from the server itself, using the desktop shortcut, or launch the program from within the System Management Module that allows performing suite-wide system management activities from a single, Web-based application, the Enterprise Manager. component.

You must have System Administration privileges to access the Recorder Manager through System Management.

Procedure 

  1. Click System Management > Enterprise > Settings.

  2. In the Installations tree, expand the Archive server. (This server is assigned the Central Archive role.)

  3. Select the Central Archive role.

  4. Click the Archive Drives tab.

    A list of the defined drives is displayed.

  5. To manage the drives or create new drives, click Launch.

    The Recorder Manager on the selected server is started. The Operations > Drives tab is displayed.
