Update the Enterprise Manager Location settings

To propagate the Enterprise Manager server address and port to all servers in the enterprise from releases earlier than 15.2, or from releases 15.2 HFR4 and later, complete this procedure.

If an application server cluster exists, the Enterprise Manager Location settings must specify the server name and port of the load balancer that fronts the cluster.

Procedure 

  1. Go to System Management Module that allows performing suite-wide system management activities from a single, Web-based application, the Enterprise Manager.. Under General Settings, select Enterprise Manager Location. Details of the Enterprise Manager Server display.

  2. Complete these fields:

    • EM Server Name - Specify the host name, IP address, or FQDN of the application server that hosts the Enterprise Manager application.

      If the Enterprise Manager is hosted on an application server cluster, specify the address of the load balancing server that distributes connections to the cluster.

    • Secondary EM Server Name - Complete this field only in a data center redundancy System redundancy solution that ensures the continued availability of a Data Center, in the event of a natural disaster. environment.     • Port Number - Specify the port (default 80) on which the server that hosts the Enterprise Manager application (or the load balancer) listens for HTTP connections.

    • HTTPS Port Number - Specify the port (default 443) on which the server that hosts the Enterprise Manager application (or the load balancer) listens for HTTPS connections.

    • Context - The recommended and default setting is /wfo.

  3. Click Update Enterprise Manager Location. Clicking this button sends the Enterprise Manager Location settings to all managed servers in the organization.
