Use the Installations tree hierarchy to configure servers
You can select specific Installations tree nodes from the graphical view of your enterprise to manage and configure servers installed at any site in the enterprise.
Child nodes can inherit configuration changes made to a parent node of the Installations tree. Follow these simple rules when selecting Installation tree nodes to manage and configure servers:

Select the Enterprise node when you want to make a configuration change or view information that applies to all servers in the Enterprise.

Select a Site Group node when you want to make configuration changes or view information that applies to all servers that reside under that site group.

Select a Site node when you want to make a configuration change or view information that applies to all servers that reside under that site.

Select a Server node when you want to make a configuration change or view information that applies only to that one server.

Select a Server Role node when you want to make a configuration change that applies only to that specific server role Entity that contains a logical, predefined set of components (system software or certified third-party software) deployed in the Data Center and Site Zones that provide specific functionality for the system. on a server.
