TDM Recorder server role and associations

Enable this role to record TDM calls via the Recorder. This role is used with these platforms:

  • Consolidated

  • Recorder

The TDM Recorder server role Entity that contains a logical, predefined set of components (system software or certified third-party software) deployed in the Data Center and Site Zones that provide specific functionality for the system. is not used in environments where Avaya Contact Recorder (ACR) servers are deployed.

Before you configure this server role, you must configure its recording channels. See Configure Recording Channels.

After making any changes to this role, you must restart the recorder component services.

For British Telecom customers: Activate the TDM server role to activate either BT ITS TDM recording Recording environment where trunk-side recording taps directly into a T1 or E1 line to record all incoming calls at the demarcation point before going to a switch. or BT ITS IPSI recording.
