Server Configuration Status screen reference

The server Configuration Status screen provides information about the current configuration errors on the servers in the enterprise.

Tenant:

In a multi-tenant enabled environment, Tenant: tenant value appears at the top of the screen next to the screen title. The tenant value can be either the name of a tenant or Shared. If the tenant value specifies a tenant name, it is the name of the tenant to which the selected Installations node is associated. The term One to five words that are meaningful to a specific type of business, or phrases that stand out in interactions in Speech and Text Analytics. Shared appears as the tenant value for the selected Site Group or Site nodes that contain servers that process data for all tenants in the system, or for selected Server nodes that process data for all tenants in the system. View

To filter the display of configuration errors according to error level, use the View menu on the upper right side of the screen. The possible selections are All, Fatal, Warning, and Error.

The configuration errors that display exist at or below the node selected in the Installations tree.

  • All - Displays all configuration errors of all statuses.

  • Fatal - Displays only errors of the Fatal status. Fatal configuration errors can cause the server to stop functioning and must be addressed immediately.

  • Error - Displays only errors of the Error status. Error-level configuration errors can adversely affect the server performance and must be addressed as soon as possible.

  • Warning - Displays only errors of the Warning status. Warning configuration errors indicate potential problems that must be addressed when time permits.

Refresh Rate

Shows the rate at which a web browser refreshes the current page to update the view of configuration errors. To choose a refresh rate (maximum 20 minutes) from the menu, click the Up/Down arrows. You can also click the refresh icon (beside the Configuration Status check mark) at any time to refresh the current page.

Higher refresh rates result in better system performance, as they use less bandwidth and processor resources. The default setting of 1 minute is recommended.

Note: This setting does not control the interval at which the configuration errors are gathered from the servers. This setting controls the rate at which the screen refreshes to display the latest information gathered from the servers.

Installation

Shows the name of the server on which the configuration error exists.

The specific servers that display in this column depend on the Installations node that is selected in the Installations (on the left side) pane.

Error Type

Shows the type of configuration error, such as a Role Constraint Violation or an Automatic Discovery Failure.

Error Level

Shows the error level, such as Fatal, Error, or Warning. See View above for more information about error levels.

Entry Date

Shows the date and time when the configuration error occurred.

Error Description

Shows a description of the error. (For example, "Integration Service - Role Integration Service should be associated to at least one instance of role IP Recorder under given enterprise.") Use this information to resolve the error condition.
