Configure Global Alarm Settings

Global alarm settings apply to every alarm. If you change a global alarm setting, the change affects every alarm in the enterprise.

The global alarm settings determine whether an audible sound plays when each alarm is triggered. These settings also define the priority levels that you can assign to alarms, and determine how long acknowledged alarms display in alarm history.

If you are using alarm notification profiles, you also enable E-mail and SNMP notifications for triggered alarms from the global alarm settings.
